NOTE: Starting in April 2016, Chrome on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.6.10.7, and 10.8 will no longer receive updates or security fixes. The Google Chrome browser will continue to be supported on these older platforms for the remainder of 2015 and up to April 2016.
Who does this affect?
This announced end-of-life support for these operating systems means that anyone using the Google Chrome browser may be vulnerable to exploits or hacks after the start of April 2016.
