how set to 3 columns in a theme
I want a three column layout. I'm using Lens theme, though I could use any theme at this early stage.
I looked in the customize options and can't find a control for number of columns, yet the example for the Lens theme shows three columns.

Usually the three column setting is within the Theme options itself and not the customize section. I would suggest checking that area as it should also be under appearance. There should be a link for something like "Lens Options".
