Accessing hidden . files when file manager autodirects me

How can I view and edit hidden files from the file manager if it automatically directs me to a folder and I did not have 'view hidden files' selected? The reset interface settings at the bottom of the dashboard doesn't seem to change this to allow me to reselect that option either.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about issues viewing hidden folders in File Manager. Resetting the interface settings in cPanel should definitely cause you to be prompted again to "view hidden folders." I recommend contacting your host if these issues persist.
