cPanel & WHM update failure in upcp script

this is error:

The `/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updatenow --upcp --log=/var/cpanel/updatelogs/update.1447130041.log` command failed and exited with the code “255” (signal = 0)

Hello ziad_jaber,

Thank you for your question. While looking over cPanel forums I found one thread that said the /var/tmp folder was not writable. Can you please be sure of this before moving on?
