Sent mail box disappeared

A client I am hosting on my account has complained that his email box no longer has a sent mail box. Has anyone else experienced this? Is something going on with the inMotionHosting email servers? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello lovein8, Thank you for contacting about the non-appearance of a Sent mail box. This is a common issue in many different email programs; however, I have seen it more often in Mac Mail. Where is your customer checking their mail? Do they use Webmail? Or, do they use an email program like Mac Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird? If they use Mac Mail they should set up an IMAP Path Prefix. In most situations this is helpful. Your client will also want to double-check the email settings they are using to connect with the server. Best, Christopher M.
