Running from Remote to local Magento

I have a magento website on version 1.9.2.2. I also have downloaded all the files on my site using filezilla to my pc. Now, how can i use all these files and run my website on a local server using xampp. Please help me with basic steps as i don't know much about magento or local hosting.

Hello, Thank you for your question on running Magento locally. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with configuration of local machines as we have no way to evaluate them. I can provide a link for you to get started by downloading XAMPP. Kindest Regards, Scott M
