Running from Remote to local Magento

I have a magento website on version 1.9.2.2. I also have downloaded all the files on my site using filezilla to my pc. Now, how can i use all these files and run my website on a local server using xampp. Please help me with basic steps as i don't know much about magento or local hosting.
