I tried to point my site to my domain; now I cannot access the site.

I had a site built with inmotion and attempted to point my external domain to the site. This is my first time doing that, and I must have made a mistake. Now I cannot access the site that was built. I wonder what the problem is.

Thank you for your question about pointing your domain to your account with us. Are you getting an error message? How long ago did you adjust the DNS settings for your domain? Please keep in mind that these changes, as with all DNS changes, may take up to 4 - 24 hours to take effect. Did you use a content management system( CMS ) like WordPress or Joomla! to install your website files?
