Test if My Website is Compatible with SSL

I've heard there could be problems adding SSL to my existing website.
The following has been suggested to me to help work out any problems:

"Do the HTTP migration on a test server to test first"
Is there a way to do that here? If so, what would the steps be? (I have a VPS 1000 account)

Hello licensed, Thank you for your question regarding testing if a website is compatible with an SSL. Most website should easily be compatible with an SSL certificate at this time, since it is quite standard. You can create an account, migrate the files, then test with a host file modification prior to pointing the site to the new account. Thank you, John-Paul
