Which Certificate to Sell?

Hi, I am in the Inmotion store and I see we can sell SSL certificates as resellers. Now there are so much of them it is confusing. There are Comodo certificates and GeoTrust Certificates and in each there are a couple of choices.

Which one is a standard SSL certificate that would be good for a e-commerce website??

Any suggestions?

Hello Rdizazzo, Thanks for the questions about the SSL certificates. GeoTrust and Comodo are digital certificate providers, both provide a variety of SSL certificates. The type of certificate for an e-commerce site depends on how much protection and much you're willing to pay for a certificate. The minimum is the Organized Validation type, but it doesn't give you the green bar confirming that you're secured. If you want that, then get the Extended Validation (EV) type. This typically gives customers more confidence that their connection is secured with the SSL certificate. If you want to see definitions for SSL types, check out this article.
