Website Newbie- transfer domain help

I'm new to the world of website creating. I've recently transferred my domain name but I'm not confident the transfer is complete. I will also need to activate (?) my SSL. I'm hoping there is a "flow chart" I can follow to make sure I get the set up done in the correct order since I really don't know what I'm doing. While I search through the help information, nothing tells me that xy has to be completed before you can proceed. My question/s 1) is there a flow chart for set up, before you get to the "building"? 2) Is it possible to start building the site without knowing if the domain transfer has been completed?

Hello, Thanks for your question about the domain transfer and order of when the website should be setup. There is no real "flow chart"host modification or use the temporary URL provided with your account. I would recommend the host file modification option since it's easiest to use for website development. In answer to your second question, the domain transfer is not required to be complete when you are developing your site as long as you have the hosts file modification in place so that you can properly resolve the domain name while it is still being transferred.
