How can I modify a windows .exe so that I can run it in the linux environment?

I created a windows .exe file using c++ that I would like to execute on my site. Does anyone know what I can do in order to make the .exe compatible with the linux environment?

Hello and thanks for contacting us. You may need to recompile it (old Linux Mint tutorial) for Linux. I recommend asking in some Linux Freenode IRC channels for more information.
