My website has been stolen by a group called Social Home Biz and the IP address is pointing to your server. Who can i speak to regarding trying to track down who has commandeered my site???
How would you rate the customer service you received?

As I explained at length in conversation with one of your technical representatives, the registration was not lost, I still own the registration of the domain and have now taken back the web hosting, but I have lost all the content because the data is resident on your servers. I sent all the screenshots from the "who is" IP tracking site, which proved my site was pointing to your servers and you chose to do nothing to help me. The content is still on your servers and the company that I paid over $20K to took the site over to your servers under one of their names. What I was trying to do was enlist your help to track down these thieves and get my site back as they have completely shut down their operation and are uncontactable. But if your people wish to continue dealing with these dishonest -----, it only tells me what type of company you are running and the poor ethics that inmotion hosting has.
I will be posting wherever I can, the fact you people harbor thrives and not to deal with you as you refuse to help me track down dishonest operators and refuse help innocent victims.
Maybe now you might take notice of what I have to say.
Thanks for providing more detailed information to help you get the most out of the support center.
I'd like to do what I can to clear up any misunderstandings and give you an idea of what to try next.
There are four separate pieces to any site:
1. The Domain Name
2. The Hosting
3. The DNS (usually on the hosting, but it can be external)
4. The Site Content & Associated Data
Based on the details you added in your second comment, it sounds like you hired a developer to manage your hosting and site content, only for your developer to disappear without releasing that content to you. I know that's a difficult situation to be in and I'm sorry that you are stuck dealing with it.
Unfortunately, our Live Support would need you to be able to verify ownership of a hosting account to modify its data.
If you purchase a hosting plan, there are many ways we can assist you.
We can help you point your domain to the nameservers of your new hosting plan.
Once your new site is up, our 24/7 Support Team can help you install a content management system (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal. We can also help you pick out some useful plugins to get started!
I need to reiterate, though, that we cannot release the files on an account without direct authorization of someone with verified proof of control over that account. Only someone with that level of access would be able to access that stored site data. I hope this information helps assist you in solving the issue.
