Can I change a subdomain into an add-on domain?

Hi, I have been working on transferring a website from bluehost and successfully migrated the Wordpress site as a subdomain of my main domain bramblesartretreat.com. Unfortunately I've made a mistake in that I should have created it as an addon domain. I know that addon domains also have entries under subdomain listings. eg. my addon domain *******.com also has subdomain entry *******.******.com. I need the new addon domain for ***********.com but as I've already migrated the Wordpress files to a subdomain ****.*******.com, I am not sure what to do to rectify the problem and not make it any worse. I would like to have the addon domain as ********.com and the associated subdomain *******.********.com with the document root of just /********.com.

Then, add the domain as an Addon and move the files to the new document root of the addon domain, be sure to include all hidden files as well. You should then be able to login to the Addon domain WordPress Dashboard.
