What kind of email security does InMotion Hosting have?

Hi can you please tell me how the email through inmotion hosting is safe. what security measurements are in place for making it more scure. Thank you.

Hi ATCALLIED, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Emails are stored on the server in plain text. There is no methodology in place to encrypt the emails while they are stored. You can set up your email client to use the shared SSL on the server, however, this just secures the connection to the server and not the emails themselves. Here's an article on using SSL with email.
