Upload PDF to Joomla

When I try to upload a PDF file, I get a popup that says "Do you want to open Joomla.json (256 bytes) from (my website)?" Open - Save - Cancel

Why doesn't it just upload my PDF file to the media manager? What is going wrong?

Hello Lee, This sounds like a specific setting within Joomla which needs to be set. I searched through Joomla's support forums and I found this article which states that it's resolved: Joomla forums on download issue They state that changing the live_site variable fixes the issue. Here's the exact line: "see if changing the live_site variable to http://www.studiomaxx.ca/en/ helps at all..." For two people who posted, this resolved their problem.
