Why are emails over 2 weeks old disppearing from my email account when using IMAP?

I only use IMAP when accessing my email accounts. As of today (2/5) my oldest email is from 1/20. I'm not deleting them and I have plenty of memory, and have set them to unlimited space.

I see the same behavior when logged into webmail. The emails only go back to Jan 21 (as of today) and al earlier emails are not there. Yesterday they went back to 1/20 so emails are being deleted from webmail after 16 days. That's weird! I have just added retrieving my emails by POP3 so I can archive them locally, but that's just a workaround that I'd rather not do.

It's possible that the automated IMAP archiving has been enabled-- either by accident or due to some process in Outlook. I would suggest checking that by logging into webmail instead of Outlook. If it seems like archiving has been enabled and you are having trouble deactivating it, our 24/7 Technical Support team can assist you in doing so!

Well, I gave up and went back to POP3 and storing messages locally. Everything is fine when I do this. Regards!

I'll add that I use Outlook 365 and it doesn't seem to have settings that automatically delete email messages from the server. At least that I can find.
