Subject: Missing account
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Systems Administration, I am happy to help!
Unfortunately the server that your account was hosted on, ecbiz262, experienced a failure that resulted in data loss.
Your account was too large (over 10GB in size) to be backed up by our free automated backup service.
At this time, we will need you to provide a backup of your account for us to restore for you.
Alternatively, we can simply recreate your account on a new server and get your account back up and running without the data.
Please let us know if you have any further questions; we are more than happy to help.
Best Regards,
Easton Ma.

Hello Kolitha,
Sorry for the issues with the server crash. This is the current response to the ecbiz262 server issue:
InMotion Hosting is committed to providing our customers with transparency. As part of maintaining this trust and commitment to you, we are informing you of a recent data loss event that affected your hosting account.
What happened?
At approximately 12:00 PM EST on 02/24/2020, your server, ecbiz262, suffered a failure, which resulted in an extended outage. We immediately began our internal fail-over procedure to another server. For those who subscribed to Backup Manager or provided local backups, service was restored within a few hours.
What if I did not have a backup?
If you did not subscribe to the Backup Manager or have your own local backup, then you may experience backup loss.
Currently, the process of attempting to recover some or all data from the affected server is still ongoing. The large blocks of data require significant migration time due to their size. However, we cannot guarantee the data integrity of the restoration from the previous server.
We apologize for this inconvenience and are committed to resolving this issue as soon as possible.
For more information:
Any additional information will be shared in future communications including the server status at https://status.inmotionhosting.com/.

Here's what Tech Support told me in a chat I had with them again in the wee hours this morning. I again asked why my site and email are down, even though the status.inmotionhosting.com website indicates no issues:
"I appreciate your patience. After reviewing the situation with my colleagues, while the server issues have been resolved, there is still some lingering issues with a number of accounts that our higher tier is currently addressing. At this time there is no estimated time for when this will be completed, however after it is completed if you find data is still missing we will further investigate and do everything we can for you."
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
So, in summary, they had a disk drive file which caused damage to the disk and they had to run a file system integrity check to determine which files could be read and restored.
For a hosting company this is inexcusable. Hard drives fail, everyone knows this. That is why there is disk raid, disk mirroring or other technologies so that if a drive fails there is absolutely no downtime and no loss of data.
Some of my sites and cpanel are working; others are not, so I just contacted Tech Support chat.
Reply from IMH Tech Support Chat:
"Shortly after 12 pm on Monday February 24, 2020 our systems team noted an issue with the server. They enacted standard industry practices in troubleshooting the issue. The server was then rebooted, and it was determined that a file system integrity check needed to be done. The systems team working alongside the T3 team simultaneously worked to resolve the issue with the server, as well as to take proactive steps in the event that there are further unforeseen issues. What specifically happened to the server? Right now we are not sure, there isn't a lot of information at the moment, and I don't want to guess at it and have it turn out to be something else because that is sometimes taken as disingenuous."
When I explained that the status page shows "Normal," he replied:
"Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated time of completion for the event, and cannot speculate when it will be back to normal operation. It is undergoing what is called a File System Check. This process examines each file on the server to verify the integrity of the server and prevent data loss. This is a very intensive process and can take a long time on large servers. The way this works, we cannot see the estimated completion time. We can say that this is a very high priority for us, and our systems team is monitoring the situation."
Didn't really answer the question...
that status page says everything is okay but still no access to cpanel and all email gone
