I would like to disable the "comments" function from some, but not all of my pages. Is it possible to do that and if so, how?

Hello mmilecoccaro! You can disable comments on a single page through your WordPress Dashboard. Please see the following link on how to do this. How to disable the comments on a page in WordPress I know you stated you do not want to remove all of the comments; however, you can also disable all the blogging features if you like.
