Sent email not showing
On August 22, I sent an email to someone (which I know because they responded to it), but it does not appear in my webmail account, nor on any of my devices. How is that possible?
Sent emails lost afer trying your suggestion
We used your outlook 2013 not syncing to inbox emails suggestions of " uncheck subscribed folders" and the "adding INBOX to root folder path" and seemed may have helped. THE PROBLEM NOW after doing both those options when we click on our sent email folder none of our sent emails are showing up. That is critical data we can not loose . Thank you
Sent mail does not show up in sent folder
Hello, I use Windows Live Mail on Win 8. My problem is that when I send an email it does not show up in my "Sent Items" folder. How can I configure this to work? This is a second account in the app. The first account is no longer valid but I need to keep the older emails.

Thank you,
Mike
Sent emails not syncing
I use three Apple products. I have the iMac, iPhone, and iPad. I use Apple's Mail app. If I send mail on any device, it does not sync to the other devices. Received mail syncs fine, but I need to be able to follow the threads from sent emails on all of my devices! While hosted by a different server, the outboxes synced fine, so I don't think this is an issue with Mail.

Hello rjlombard, Thank for you submitting a question about sent email not showing. You will want to check if you are using POP or IMAP to check your email in any other clients or devices outside of webmail. Which email client are you using in webmail? Best, Christopher M.

Hello,

Thank you for your question about sent emails not showing. What program are you using to access your email? Are you using POP or IMAP?

Gratefully,
Casey B.

Hello, Sorry for the problems that you're having with your Outlook 2013 email client. First, if you're using IMAP, your emails are NOT lost. You can still login to Webmail and see all the emails on the server. Emails are saved on the server. Synchronizing is simply the process of getting a copy of them from the server to the email client. If you're not getting them, then it's usually an issue of either incorrect email settings at the server/client or network issues. If you need help finding the correct settings, please review How to find email settings. You can always reset the settings to what you were previously using as using the suggestions in the article will not damage the email client and prevent it from receiving emails. In order for us to help diagnose and determine what's happening with your email client, we do need more information. Can you please provide an email address, and all of the settings that you have used? If you don't want to resolve this issue on the Support Center (which is public), then please submit a support ticket to our live technical support team. If you continue to be unhappy with the support we have proivded here, then we recommend that you contact Microsoft for further support with the application. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.

Hello,

The Send folder is not subscribed by default. You will need to do that for all devices if you wish for them to all display the same data.

Hello Mike, First, do you have your email account setup as a POP3 or IMAP mail account? The reason I ask, is because if you have it setup as POP3 your sent messages would just be stored locally in your email client. While if you have it setup as IMAP it could be stored just on the server depending on your email client settings.

Subscribe to an IMAP folder in Windows Live mail

These instructions and modified from the subscribe to specific IMAP folders guide from Microsoft.
  1. Open Windows Mail
  2. From the Folders list, select an IMAP server
  3. Click IMAP Folders
  4. From the Show/Hide IMAP Folders box, select your Sent or Sent Items folder
  5. To view the folder, click Show
Hope that helps, please let us know if you need anything else. - Jacob

Hello Mike,

First, be sure you are subscribed to the Sent folder. This may make a difference. I am unsure if it is possible to view the Sent folder of one account while logged into another, but also be sure you are in the correct account when you attempt to view the Sent mail.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
