Self-signed SSL Certificate on Launch Plan

I am considering buying a Launch shared hosting plan and would like to know if I shall be able to have a self-signed SSL certificate on it.
I would appreciate if you could clarify this.

Hello, Thank you for your question about self-signed SSL certificate on Launch Plan. Self-signed certificates are not needed on shared servers, but they can be installed on VPS and Dedicated servers. The shared servers have shared SSLs on them if you would like to use them for your website. They also have SSLs on them for email services as well, which are automatically in use by calling the secure ports and using the secure server names in your email settings.
