A record to inmotionhosting
Hi,
I would like to point A record to inmotionhosting without touching MX records or changing nameserver (which is written in your instructions). I need to keep the email where it is (which is another provider) but have the website itself here. What should I write in a record to set it correctly?

- Create a subdomain, such as mail.example.com, and point the 'A record' to your mail server's IP.
- Point your MX records to mail.example.com.
- Point your main domain's 'A record' (such as example.com) to your shared IP with us.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the DNS changes to propagate globally.
Let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you, John-Paul
