Frequency of email forwarding

I have (and have had) email forwarders for my domain email. I just tested them. After 25 + minutes, I haven't received them. They work, but how long does it take to receive the email?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about the frequency of email forwarding. It should happen immediately, but be sure to test with an outside email address. This is because it will not forward an email back to the originating address. Next, check the settings in your client (such as Outlook, Webmail, Mac Mail), as they may be set to only check for new email on an interval (such as every hour). Once the emails are delivered, or fail, check the time stamps for delivery times, or error messages. If your problems persist, I recommend reviewing your mail logs for record of the transmission, or errors. If you are on a shared server, Live Support can assist you with this.
