How to install software in temporary URL directory?

I want to install software to test it. So I am trying to do this to my 'temporary', non-public, site. I have the temporary URL .... However, any directory I choose is rejected. Help with this would be gratefully received.

Hello, Thank you for your question on installing software on your Temp URL. Note that your Temp URL is not a separate space on your account. The Temp URL is simply an alternative way to view your site before you point your domain name to the hosting servers. How are you trying to install the software? Are you using the Softaculous tool or attempting manual installation? You can use the cPanel to see the folder structure so you know what directories exist. Kindest Regards, Scott M
