I have been experiencing few problems with my site. I was briefly able to go into the Drupal configuration panel and now I cannot again and I keep getting the following message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _field_info_field_cache() (previously declared in /home/neptec5/public_html/modules/field/field.info.inc:16) in /home/neptec5/public_html/sites/all/modules/field/field.info.inc on line 32

I have installed Drupal 8 over Drupal 7.39. by mistake. My site have stopped working after installing Drupal 8. , I have uploaded Drupal 7.43 and re uploaded Classic site ( that is my Drupal site theme). I suspect that there is some conflict. I assume there are some left over folders from Drupal 8 that may trigger a conflict as well. I have no clue how to fix it. Please Help!
Thank you!

Hello irina_espinoza, Thank you for contacting us about a Fatal error in Drupal. Since the error mentions "cache" (Cannot redeclare _field_info_field_cache) see if you can reset, or manually remove any cache files. The steps for this will differ based on how you cached your site. You may have to try reinstalling Drupal 7.39 from scratch (in a test folder), then try and get it connected to your database. Once you have tested and got it working, move the files to the active folder. You may want to try upgrading/testing before moving, but be sure to backup your website files/database before proceeding. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
