Multisite Question for WordPress -

I have a site: www.example.org - and it is presently for Thunder Bay city. We want to expand right to refuge so that different cities can have a site. My desire would be to have www.example.org/thunderbay, www.example.org/orillia, etc. and each of these would be their own site (although all the same more or less). The main example.org would just be a splash page that directs people to different city sites. I've installed Multisite already but I don't know where to go from here.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Steve, Thank you for contacting us about setting up WordPress multisite with sites in separate folders. We spent some time looking into this, and could not find a 'built-in' way to accomplish this in WordPress. An easier option may be to create a WordPress installation in each separate folder, then just link to the separate folders/sites from your main splash page.
