paypal not working after update

Hi,
I have just updated my prestashop to the latest version. Now the paypal module is no longer working saying it is not compatible with my country (U.K.) I am using the PayPal Europe version. Having contacted prestashop support they are saying I have to purchase a PayPal directs module that costs £134.99. I cant afford this price is their any free modules or reasonably priced modules that are simple to use like paypal. This is a big inconvenience as I plan pay my supliers via paypal so now I will have transfer money from one place to another when my shop starts converting.

Hello Steveread1, Apologies for the problem with the Paypal module not working after updating to the latest version. Unfortunately, these modules are third-party developments and we don't know of an alternative to them. If you haven't already tried looking, make sure to look at the PrestaShop Page for addons. There might be a different add-on that is less costly. Additionally, make sure to reach to the developers of the module that you were using. They may be in the process of updating or be able to point you in the direction of a work-around or an alternative solution. Apologies again that we can't provide a direct solution to the issue.
