How to add a modal box

I would like to add a modal box that pops up on my home page upon opening which gives the reader a choice of 2 languages. Is there and easy way of doing this or an add in that I could use as I have zero web design experience.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about modal boxes. I'm not sure exactly what kind of modal interface you're looking for, but if you're looking for modal buttons it be wisest to do it with CSS and Javascript, since they are two of the most popular languages for web design. This may require at least a little design experience, but I'm sure you can pick up the necessary knowledge fairly quickly. Best, Christopher M.
