PHP Web Form not able to send to Gmail Accounts

I have a php web form that sends email responses, upon submission, to other email accounts just fine; but, it cannot send to Gmail email accounts. Any changes I should make in the PHP.ini file or Cpanel to overcome this brick wall setup by Google's Gmail? I'm assuming Google will not accept standard SendMail() function of PHP, correct? Any help? This form works fine for other email addresses that are not @gmail.com.

Thank you for your question regarding PHP mail. Are you able to send mail from the same server to Gmail accounts? It could be that the server is on a blacklist at this time. Are there any bounce back errors (you may need to set a reply-to address to see these).
