Drupal blog posts not moving to home page

I am having difficulty sending my blog previews to my home page. Typically, when I would check the box that says promote to front page, this would suffice. However, now it is not showing up there. Do you have any ideas would be causing this and if so, how I could work my way around this?

Hello immunoh,

Thank you for your question on Drupal blog post promotion. When checking the 'Promote to front page' option, this should bring that to the main page of your Drupal site. As that should work, I do not know why it would not. Do you see any error messages? If so, what are they?
