missing cgi-bin directory ...

When i logged in for the first time, i did not find cgi-bin folder in my public_html folder. Can I create it myself, or do i find it somewhere else? If i can create it myself, is there any naming convention or do i have to set properties with chmod or so?

Hello, Thank you for your question about your cgi-bin folder. Usually, the folder is created by default. If it is missing for whatever reason, you can make a new directory by clicking "New Folder" in your cPanel File Manager, or command `mkdir` on the command line, and call it "cgi-bin", and it will be fully functional.
