I have an expiring SSL certification from GoDaddy, but i just want to create a new SSL certification on InMotion.
I would prefer to just get a new SSL cert from InMotion and not renew thru GoDaddy. What is the process for doing this? Do i need to do anything special with the GoDaddy cert, or do i just treat this as installing a brand new cert that i buy from InMotion? Also, do i need a wildcard cert if i am protecting "lefthandrobotics.com" and "www.lefthandrobotics.com"?
Hello dreeves,
Thank you for contacting us about creating a new SSL with InMotion. You do not need to migrate the SSL from GoDaddy. Just activate your Free AutoSSL certificate in AMP. Then you can use it for your website.
You can purchase an SSL instead if you need an Advanced SSL with a dedicated IP address. You would not need wildcard SSL to protect both URL's.
Thank you,
John-Paul
