SSL Opencart set up for nonwww + www traffic

I have followed your guide for setting up SSL in Opencart, but can not quite get it to work and I think it's because a redirect in .htaccess?
How do I set up SSL correctly AND redirect http nonwww + www traffic to https://www....?
Would really appreciate help!! Thnx
