Subdomain redirect without changing URL
Hi,
I am looking to redirect a subdomain (i.e. subdomain.domain.com) to an address which is hosted by an external provider such as AWS (i.e. http://1.1.1.1:8080/folder)
I want to retain the subdomain.domain.com in the address bar rather than display http://1.1.1.1:8080/folder
I would be grateful for any suggestions on how I can do this.
Thanks

Thank you for your question about redirects and subdomains. Yes, this is possible, and you can do it through cPanel. In the DNS editor, add an A record to your subdomain pointing to the IP address of the server you want to reach. Provided that DNS is configured properly at the destination, this should work as expected.
Best,
