Can't Use Mail with SSMTP

Hello,
I am trying to use one of my email addresses with ssmpt, here is my configuration file:

root=mail@mydomain.com
mailhub=secure172.inmotionhosting.com:465
rewriteDomain=mydomain.com
AuthUser=mail@mydomain.com
AuthPass=password

When I try to send an email I get the following error:
Invalid response SMTP server

What do I need to do to get it working?
