Do I need to remove all files I’ve created from my public_html directory before installing concrete5?

I have been developing a site on inmotionhosting using html, css and javascript. I’m realizing I’d like to begin using concrete5. Do I need to remove all files I’ve created from my public_html directory before installing concrete5? Any documentation you’d recommend I read before doing the install? Many thanks!

Hi YadaYoda, Thanks for posting your question. I'm not too sure of the folders that Concrete5 will create but typically you won't have to remove your folders. What you could do is just move them into one folder so you have your previous work for later. I would suggest reading the Concrete5 installation instructions prior to installing. Here's a link to that: Concrete5 Installation Guide If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S
