access the site by ip address and redirect to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

I have a VPS hosting and transfer a Joomla site from other vendor.

If i access this site by domain name, everything goes well.
If I access it by IP address, it will redirect to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi, not index.php.

Does anyone help us on this?

Thank you for your question tengallen! If your cPanel account for the domain is using the main server IP address you will get the default apache page. Only domains on cPanel accounts that have a dedicated IP will show the website. Its difficult to say without knowing the domain and IP you are using. Best Regards, James R
