Can node.js be installed on shared hosting?

I'm wondering if we would have the access needed to install and run node.js.

InMotion Hosting has recently rolled out "Hosting Plus" on our Business Class and WordPress Shared Hosting plans. Hosting Plus includes support for Python, Node.JS, Ruby and GIT version control right out of the box.

Our VPS and Dedicated Servers also continue to support Node.js.

Thanks for the question! Node.js can only be installed on a VPS or Dedicated servers, and not on Shared Hosting plans. If you're interested in upgrading your plan, you can make the request through the Account Management Panel (AMP). Here's an article on the issue:
