google is using our temporary biz117 site instead of real url

We signed up for hosting in late May (set site to no robots) and moved our url (sbsigns.com) to our Inmotion site in early June. Google is using the temporary biz117 url for search results, and worse yet, the results yield mashup pages (see http://biz117.inmotionhosting.com/~sbsign5/index.php?option=com_content&view=featured&Itemid=435).
We have tried 301 redirects in the .htaccess file and in the site redirects themselves (no improvement) and can not put a robots.txt file at the root for the temporary host. We can not tell google to move the site because we are not in the root of the temporary url.
Do we need to change hosting servers and just take the hit or is there another solution?

Hello fbarbaria1! Sorry for the trouble with your temporary url coming up in Google searches. This can happen if someone types your temporary url in a Google search instead of just visiting it in a browser address bar. What happens is Google caches your page in their web crawler if its searched through the Google search bar. You can get your URLs removed from Googles cache by resubmitting your website and XML sitemap to them at Google Webmaster Central. You can remove your website from Googles search entirely and start over if you want. It's recommended you submit your site to Google anyway. Once you have Verified with Google and notified them that your site is changed and your URLs are indexed in their crawler, you should see the temporary URL drop out of the search results. Sorry for the trouble with this, unfortunately, there is nothing you can set up on our end that will fix this. Redirects will not remove the url from the Google results. I removed the redirect so your site is working again. Best Regards, James R
