Hello,

Thanks for posting your question regarding the installation of an SSL certificate purchased at GoDaddy. Unfortunately, without knowing the plugin they are using, it's difficult to diagnose what the issue is. However, the process for installing an SSL Certificate is:

  1. Generate a CSR. This needs to be done from the server that the SSL certificate will be installed on. You can do this for your client via your Account Management Panel (AMP).
  2. Provide the CSR to the SSL certificate vendor (GoDaddy in this case) to purchase the SSL certificate.
  3. Install the SSL certificate (typically installed in cPanel).
  4. Force the website to use the SSL certificate (for WordPress we recommend Really Simple SSL).

Also, please note that all our hosting plans include Free AutoSSL. This can secure all your domains hosted with us, automatically. You would then just need to force the website to use the SSL certificate (for WordPress we recommend Really Simple SSL).

I hope this helps! If you need additional guidance, please feel free to reply back with more details on how to replicate the error your client is receiving. This will help us to diagnose the issue more accurately.

Sincerely,

Carlos D.
