OpenCart downloadable trial products

hi
i want to use opencart for selling software first of
all i want the user to test the software before purchase by downloading a demo of the product or some times free software for download

To handle the trial download, your best option would be the add some sort of button within the item description page itself to show that there is a trial download available. From there, that button could link to a free product download item that you have set up. Where to place that button and how to handle it is all up to you, but it is certainly possible to do something like that. Allowing that button to go to a free product and having that customer go through a checkout process will allow you to obtain their contact information for leads later as well. I have also updated the OpenCart article regarding downloadable items to also reflect how you would go about addring trial products as well.
