SSL Certificate for payment processing

I have the business account that is on a secure server and I need to have SSL to process membership payments. Do I need to purchase a dedicated SSL certificate or can I use the shared SSL server for this? Thanks for your assistance.

Hello phenonenalimage, Thank you for your question SSL Certificate for payment processing. If you need an SSL and you are on a shared server, you can almost always use either the shared SSL or purchase a Dedicated SSL. The exception to this would be if you are using a Content Management System such as WordPress, OpenCart, PrestaShop, etc. as they rely on a single domain name to work properly.
