Roles not available in "Assign roles in System"

Some roles are not showing in "Assign roles in System" section.
Teacher
non-editing teacher
student
or other custom roles

Is there a setting/permission that needs to change, to allow for those roles assignment on system level?

Hello, Thanks for posting the question, but we do need a few specifics concerning the software that you are using. It does appear that you are referring to Moodle (based on the roles you have described). If this is not the case, then please reply with further information. The roles for Moodle are the preset roles that come loaded with Moodle. They can be deleted. If necessary, you should also be able to re-create them. Use the article link above to see how the rules are defined. You can also reference it directly with Moodle's documentation Assign roles. You will need to have administrator access for your user in order to edit or add to these roles. For information on changing permissions, see assigning users permissions.
