Trouble Publishing with Frontpage

I have a website that has been loaded using FTP by another person. I have decided to use Front Page to replace that website. The hosting company has installed Front Page extension. But when I try to publish I get an error message that window's share point may not have been installed. And according to your instructions , I should not use FTP part of the Front Page because the extension will be corrupted.
