If you're not familiar with copying the code, then you'll need to connect the account when using the plugin. I tried it myself in two places using the latest version of WordPress. Here's the video on my test site:
Sorry for the delay in your answer - had to re-edit the video and add some text. Hope that helps! It wasn't too difficult to add the button, just make sure you have the right code and that you can add it into the location that you select on your WordPress site.
thank you for much! PayPal is working fine for me. I seem to completely inept at making my email and subscribe buttons to work. Can you point me to the right place in tutorials? I am working with boldgrid. I am not doing something right with the coding.
thank you. I tried creating a button through my PayPal account and it did not want to work. I will troubleshoot that. So easier do do it through PayPal then to use a word plugin?

Hello Withvenia,
Thanks for the question about adding a Paypal button to your WordPress site. There are a few ways to do it, but the easiest method is to simply login to your Paypal account and then create the button code there. They walk you through it. Here are the steps to get to the button area:
After you create the button, you will be given the code that you need to add it into your WordPress site. There are many types of buttons, so it will be up to you so select the one that best meets your needs.
I hope this helps to answer your question. If you need further assistance, please let us know!
Kindest regards,
Arnel C.

Hello Withvenia,
Thanks for your question concerning the email and subscribe buttons. The email button is something you can create with the Custom Links in a menu. You can try this tutorial on working with Menus in BoldGrid. If you have just or installed a tutorial, it's actually easier to select the social media options at that point. Adding them later in the menus means that you need to add a custom link, if you don't see the social media option already displayed.
Steps for creating the email button - by the way we don't recommend it because of spam abuse. We recommend using a form. However, you can create an email button very easily using the Custom Link option in Menus. The URL would need to look like this: mailto:[email protected]. The email icon will appear in the top right corner.
Notice the mail icon added to the social media menu line in the top right corner.
The SUBSCRIBE button is something you will need to create. I recommend creating a form, and then adding a button using the custom links option in the menus section. This is a BoldGrid tutorial on creating a custom form. You will need to make sure that your form sends you the information you're trying to save for subscribers. This is does NOT create a subscriber's list automatically. You will need to use a plugin or other program to do that for you. A good one for building mailing lists is MailChimp. You may also consider the Woocommerce Subscription plugin. There are also many membership plugins. You will need to select the one that best fits your needs.
If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
