Calling files by subdomain from primary domain

I created a subdomain mobile.rock-on-*****.com for smartphone users, and would like to call files from the desktop version. I've tried ../folder/foo, ./folder/foo, and /folder/foo, but only a full http://rock-on*****.com/folder/foo works. How do I do this?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about accessing files from a subdomain. Subdomains are limited to the document root folder that is setup when you create the subdomain. Since this folder is within the public_html folder, you could host your files in the subdomain folder, and access them from the main domain instead.
